The Department of Energy and Climate Change have recently published a report on ‘Energy Behaviour’ written by Tim Chatterton as part of his recent Fellowship based in the Department.
The report introduces a range of approaches to understanding behaviour in the context of end-user energy demand, including work on behavioural economics and social psychology, values and frames, and practice theory.
The report can be found on DECC’s Social Research and Customer Insight page: http://www.decc.gov.uk/en/content/cms/about/ec_social_res/sr_cus_insight/sr_cus_insight.aspx
